CONTINENTAL GAS is a professional construction and project management company, that was formed in 1990 to specialize in meeting the stringent requirements of the Industrial and Medical Gasses Industry in South Africa, as a specialist fabricator and installer of pipe work and equipment.

CONTINENTAL GAS services a range of clients in the Commercial, Industrial, Petro-Chemical and Mining market sectors.

CONTINENTAL GAS are involved in various small to Turnkey Mechanical Projects which includes Electrical and Civil contracts. A portion of the business is outside of South Africa where we have successfully completed projects in Southern, Central and West Africa, mainly in the capacity as a Sub-Contractor to other Companies.

We are coded by TUV Rheinland against the ASME IX Boiler and Pressure Vessels Codes as well as the EN 287-1 (SABS) codes for both Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel. Our welding procedures also include socket welded fittings and branch socket welding for low, medium and High Pressure installations.

All our Welding Procedure Specifications are approved for both small and large bore piping which includes High Pressure Manifolds and Equipment.

We own all our own Plant & Equipment as well as our Workshop and Office containers which enables us to offer our client base a specialised and professional service.

The company maintains strong links with capable contracting and engineering organisations, allowing CONTINENTAL GAS to provide a service, ranging from small to large installations and service support as may be requested by any client.
